I don't like to use the word cute yet the little Pyrite cubes in a
Schist matrix are cute. Pyrite (Moh's 6-6.5) is also known as Fool's
Gold for the striking similarity between the two minerals. Pyrite is
found in all three types of rock formations: igneous, metamorphic and
sedimentary. |
